Head Start is a Victorian Government program that supports Senior School students to undertake a school-based apprenticeship and traineeship (SBAT) and develop the skills, capabilities and confidence to be job ready.
Students taking part in Head Start receive paid on-the-job training that contributes to their VCE, VCE-VM or VPC studies. Head Start carefully matches each student with an employer to ensure that the placement is suitable.
