At Roxburgh College we are embracing the opportunity for our students to use Technology in all their classes, to help foster and develop 21st century skills in the global community. We live in a time of rapid change in ICT. In order to participate in a knowledge-based economy our students need to be equipped with the correct skills and have the confidence to use them.
BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE
Digital learning is an essential part of the curriculum program at Roxburgh College and it is expected that every student attending the college will have their own computer device. To ensure that the 1:1 Device program is effective and to provide the best outcomes for our students, Roxburgh College supports a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) program.
BYOD means that students are able to bring to school a laptop device, such as a PC, Apple or Chrome Book.
Year 7-9 – Roxburgh College implements an iPad Program –Year 7 iPad Flyer 2018
Year 10-12- – Students can a device that suits the subjects they are undertaking – BYOD 2018
All users of the Roxburgh College network are required to comply with the school’s Acceptable ICT User Agreement for Internet, Online Services and Digital Technologies.
